AGIP is a pioneering firm in Intellectual Property protection in the world and today remains one of the leading firm in this field. It has received the Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) Award for being the top IP firm in the Middle East in 2015 for the 8th year.

AGIP today is the largest IP firm in the world, managing the protection, among others, of nearly half of the global Fortune 500 firms. It has always been the most generous Arab contributor to regional and global Intellectual Property associations, and has worked in close cooperation with Arab governments and multilateral governmental organizations to improve the climate for Intellectual Property protection. 

AGIP also funds some Arab NGO's such as the Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) and the Licensing Executives Society-Arab Countries (LES-AC).
